The first time i finished Shadow of Destiny, Eike gets run down by a bunch of drunk kids leaving me confused and unsure what the whole game was all about. Naturally i never played the game again after being disgusted by the ending i got until the game was recently ported to the PSP. I can't remember what i did differently this time but i got a much more satisfying ending where Eike loses his memory after defeating Homunculus and is trapped in the past. The special trailers which you unlocked after finishing the game appears to have been removed, perhaps Konami doesn't want unsuspecting gamers to know that this is a port of an old playstation2 game?
Come to think of it, i didn't see any of the staff involved with the PSP port listed on the ending credits either but i did read that this port contains all-new voicework and artwork. The artwork accompanying the opening menu does look new but i have to dust off my old playstation2 version to see if there is any truth regarding the new voiceovers.
